China paid Bin Laden to see U.S. cruise missiles

After a U.S. attack on Afghanistan in August 1998 left up to 40 U.S. Tomahawk cruise missiles unexploded, China funnelled $10M to Osama bin Laden's organization to acquire an example of one. China is denying the claims. [Since 75 missiles were fired, the number of 40 unexploded seems dubious.]

Giuliani to appear in Drag

Sir Rudolph Giuliani, Mayor of New York City, has likely agreed to appear in drag for a taping of Queer as Folk, a racy soap opera set in homosexual Pittsburgh. When he was told that a New York pride group had raised $100,000 for victims of the WTC attacks, Giuliani agreed to appear if funds were found to match that number. At this time "nearly all" of the money has been raised.

Among these are outlawing internet gambling, expanded authority for Carnivore, and expanded authority for the FCC. Of course, these don't really have anything to do with prevention of terrorism.
